48 hours Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

After spending 5 days in Singapore, I fly out again. This time, back to KL for another Chinese New Year weekend!

19/2 - Head to the airport after work on Friday and rushing for my flight at 7.15pm! Arrived at KLIA 2 around 8.15pm, took the KLIA express into the city. Arrived at G-Tower hotel around 9.30pm, check in and head up to the roof top bar for a drink before calling off the day.

20/2 - As usual, went to Pavilion for breakfast. The new year decoration was so fancy! Wow! After breakfast, took the free shuttle bus "GoKL" to KL tower! It was my first time to KL tower. As it was located uphill, it will take around 10mins to climb up the slope in order to get up there. Standing at 421m, I can see the whole KL in a glance! It costs around RM 105 to go up to the observation deck but I think it's totally worth it! The panorama view of the city with breeze. Yes, its outdoor without window panels! The twin towers look as if there were beyond reach. There is even a revolving resturant below if you wan to dine in. After enjoying the view, headed to Pasar Seni and Chinatown for flea markets! Got my tea and chips to bring home!

After that, went back to the hotel and check out the jacuzzi and swimming pool at the hotel. The whole pool was empty and can even had a naked swim (I'm didn't do it! Oops). The swimming pool located at level 11 it's just amazing to soak in the pool with 37 degree Celsius.

The highlight of the day was drinking at Helipad lounge bar. It was located at 34th floor Menara KH, Bukit Bintang. It was my first time being up there after learning from a travel magazine. The Helipad only able to be accessed after 6pm. So I was there at 5.30 to make sure I get to go up first (which I did)! I'm the first to speed up to the roof and make sure I captured the best view with nobody around! The down side was too hot and glaring at 6pm. I almost melt after 10 mins and headed back to the lounge again to get the aircon. The helipad lounge bar is a must go in KL! Went for Malaysian dinner after the drinks and did some shopping at KLCC. It was a long and exhausting day!

22/2 - After my Prata and Mee soto breakfast at KLCC, headed to KL aquarium which is located inside KLCC. There are some improvement since my last visit. Again, enhance my knowledge and raise awareness of environmental issues and protection. Last stop, shopping for grocery before heading home again. It was a short but yet fulfilling trip exploring places I have yet to be. I will be back kl!
