Dinner and Dance 2013

In a blink of eyes, we are halfway through Jan..this is how time flies without even realising it..haha..
On 4 Jan, we have annual Dinner and Dance and this year, the theme was "Back to School".. our department had come up with ideas like wearing black frame glasses,white collar shirt with grey sweater and silver tie, with blue jeans and shoes...we even have our own department badge...very cool..held at Pan Pacific Hotel, i have alot of fun there and without getting drunk..just dont wan to mess myself up like what i did last year...lol

New Year, New beginning

Happy new year!! Welcome 2013..hopefully everything will turn out to be fine this year..

Went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the last weekend of the year to do shopping and sightseeing.Left work at 5pm so that i can catch my flight at 7.15pm..hehehehe

 

Day 1 - Arrived at KL LCCT at 8.30pm ...had a 1hr taxi ride before arriving at G tower hotel at Jalan Ampang..check in, went to the roof top bar to get some food and drinks before i called off the night



 

 

 



 Day 2 - Woke up at 8.30am and went to KLCC..Had plan to go up to Petronas towers but tickets were fully sold up until 1 Jan..is a pity as i missed going up to the tower again!! argh~~had breakfast there and went to the aquarium instead. At RM50, we see more reptiles than fishes...i think it is more suitable to be called "Reptile House" instead...lol...then we spent 3 hours there doing shopping before heading back to hotel.

Continue our shopping spree again at Pavilion at Bukit Bintang..i love shopping over there..huge mall with everything i need...one of the shopping mall you have to shop in KL..lol..Surprisely, i found the renowned mango dessert store over there...i always thought i can only find that in Hong Kong..that Mango sago with pomelo really brighten my day :D

Day 3, woke up and head to Central market for more shopping..then head to Chinatown and Petaling street to continue my bargaining skills..lol..got really cheap stuffs like glasses, wallet and gifts..never get tired of bargaining..lol

 

Head back to KLCC again to do last min shopping before heading to KL airport to catch our flight in the evening..i was sleeping inside the cab along the way to airport as i was knackered...truly tired and worn out after 2 days of die-hard shopping and walking..

I haven been to KL since 2009 and i realised that KL have improve alot..in terms of transport, service and infrastructure..most importantly, is Cheap!!..it is also much more easier for me to travel around without having to worry about not speaking Bahasa malay...it was a great trip and really enjoyed myself alot..

 

Went to work the next day on 31Dec till 3pm..head home rest and head to Clarke Quay for new year countdown..Crowded and packed,this is how new year supposed to be..spending the night with everyone.lol.great live band, vodka,pretty sights and great company, is really fun over there..dancing and move along with music.. great countdown party~~
