Busy Busy Decemeber..

After exam, im back to work on Wed..and the following wed, 19 Dec, we have an early celebration in the office..This is my third time joining the gift exchange..I am the organiser for the event as usual..since we have tight budget this year, we ordered the food from nearby coffee shop..which apparently turn out quite nice and tasty..lol..after lunch, we played white elephant game for the gift exchange and got myself a diffuser from Eugene :D

Went to Timbre for dinner on Thurs evening..which apparently the "FINAL" evening before the world comes to an end on 21/12/12 predicted by Mayans...ordered my favourite duck pizza with beer..enjoying the scenery, the live band and munching the pizza under the stars...

 

 

 

On sat, help my brother for shifting..im so glad that we have peace in the house now..haha

Meet up with school mates on Christmas eve..have dinner together before heading to Dw house for house party..since i missed the gift exchange on 15 Dec, there will be no gift exchange last night...SM brought Twister, red wine, sharon brought Kinect while Karen brought Chivas and Vodka...We played the games for whole night and had a toast when the clock strike 12...what a simple yet nice way to spend xmas together...is nice to see them again since i have been "outcasting" myself due to busy schedule and exams...We had alot of fun and laughter till 5am before we headed to Mac for breakfast ..so looking forward for the countdown for 2013...lol

Holiday~~

Finished my exam last tue and went back immediately to work on Wed..well, i dont think i will do well for the exam..what i hope i well enough to pass the paper...hehe..

Life is great so far...back to work and got my conversion contract again :D
Been busy for the whole week..rushing to get xmas gift..and finally got what i wanted...was eager to go to bar n get my beer too!!! lol

I had alot of fun last night...watching french movie "Intouchable"..very nice foreign movie..much better than i have really expected...after the movie, we went for drinks till 3am..a nice way to end the saturday night and my ordeal for exams...

No more school, no more lesson..enjoying my holiday and looking forward to 2013!!

Time off from books

1 more week to my exam..more or less, i have prepared for the exam.. just need to recap and practice again...well, went to Air Supply Concert last Sunday at Marina Bay Sands grand theater. Since my fren got an extra ticket at the front, i decided to go since its free (Usual price $171)..lol..Honestly, im not an "Air Supply" fan..only know a few of their songs..Ironically, the concert was much than i have thought. The 1.5hrs of concert was entertaining and interesting..really glad that i went for that event.

On Thurs, relieve myself from books again and went to watch Twilight- Breaking Dawn at Nex...my fren gave me a shocked when he bought the premiere seat ($25) instead of those normal seats ($7.50)..its my first time been to the Premiere theater...nothing special..just that i got adjustable seats,blankets and lesser crowd in the cinema...The movie was nice, as well as my company :D

Just came home from a bike ride from East Coast park..went for a spin around Punggol and East coast area before settling down for a drink..a nice way to spend the weekend..relaxing..

No beer , no party this week..and will continue this after my exams...

Preparing for my exam

Last week have done pretty much..went to watch Skyfall ..twice~ missed the first 20 mins in my first movie as i was late..lol...went to watch again the next day...its really worth it as i know what had happened in the first 20 mins of the movie...Taking a break to relax once a while can be a good motivation for me to study later :D

 

Well, i have received my exam docket which means that exam is really drawing near..first paper will be 3 Dec and last paper will be on 11 Dec...i really cant wait to finish the exam soon and pass these remaining papers.. *pray hard to pass*

 

Also, i have received the Skywards and Krisflyer card this week..which indicates that i can enjoy the benefits of being the member of the two prestige airlines..Looking for more flying next year after i have finish my studies..

More or less, i made plans for my travellings..had already made a booking so far for next year...and looking forward to fly with SIA one day :D Time to mug and study ...

Its NO-vember

Its November and we are approaching to the end of the year..took an unpaid leave in Oct and i think is really worth it. I managed to travel to unwind, study for my exam and attend all the remaining lessons...

I going back to work tmr.i have to collect my feeling and head back to work...happy to be back at work :D

KOTR 2012

Sunday morning on 28 Oct, Only had 3 hours of sleep, i woke up half heartedly and went to Marina Bay Sands Garden by the bay for Adidas King of the road run 16.8km. Arrived at MBS at 7am.

Throughout the run, i was jogging with Alvin..sharon was pacing Dw right behind us..Jw was accompanying mum..The starting line is at Gardens by the bay, ran towards Kallang and U-turn back.With the temp of 35 degree, it makes it tougher to run under the scorching hot sun..it was an achievement for me to finish 16.8km run for 2 hrs ,12 mins and 41 sec..my first ever long distance run so far...haha..at least i finished the RACE!!! tired but fun~~

The trip to United Kingdom

Weather: Mid Autumn, 3 - 17  degree, Raining

 

 

Day 1 - Arrived at Manchester Airport at 12.45pm on 2 Oct. I have taken 17hours of flights. Thanks to Stopover at Colombo which makes the trip so long. It was drizzling..Check in and settled down in the room..nothing much..check around the area...

 

 

 

 Day 2 - Went to Warrington and did some shopping there..went to Walton hall gardens.. nice weather, clear blue sky

Day 3 - Went to Piccadilly Gardens and continue my shopping spree. Arndale Manchester, House of Fraser and the whole streets were full of shops and boutiques. A similar place like Orchard Rd in Singapore. Had my first chinese food there ..cost 5poundsSpent whole day there before heading to Manchester Town Hall

Day 4 - Went to the Trafford Centre for more shopping. A "must go" shopping mall since it is the biggest shopping arcade in Europe.Spent half a day there doing my shopping and exploring the whole places..lol

Day 5 Went to Chorlton for breakfast before heading to Old Trafford to take some pictures. Party on Sat night was really great...haha

Day 6 - Wales

Drove 150miles west to Wales and visit the Conwy Castle, the lake, and trying Welsh traditonal breakfast cheese on toast..Wales is really a beautiful place.. peaceful and quiet.
