Overseas Trip



The trip to United Kingdom

Weather: Mid Autumn, 3 - 17  degree, Raining

 

 

Day 1 - Arrived at Manchester Airport at 12.45pm on 2 Oct. I have taken 17hours of flights. Thanks to Stopover at Colombo which makes the trip so long. It was drizzling..Check in and settled down in the room..nothing much..check around the area...

 

 

 

 Day 2 - Went to Warrington and did some shopping there..went to Walton hall gardens.. nice weather, clear blue sky

Day 3 - Went to Piccadilly Gardens and continue my shopping spree. Arndale Manchester, House of Fraser and the whole streets were full of shops and boutiques. A similar place like Orchard Rd in Singapore. Had my first chinese food there ..cost 5poundsSpent whole day there before heading to Manchester Town Hall

Day 4 - Went to the Trafford Centre for more shopping. A "must go" shopping mall since it is the biggest shopping arcade in Europe.Spent half a day there doing my shopping and exploring the whole places..lol

Day 5 Went to Chorlton for breakfast before heading to Old Trafford to take some pictures. Party on Sat night was really great...haha

Day 6 - Wales

Drove 150miles west to Wales and visit the Conwy Castle, the lake, and trying Welsh traditonal breakfast cheese on toast..Wales is really a beautiful place.. peaceful and quiet.

Formula 1 2012



After much anticipation, the F1 is finally here last weekend!! i have bought the three day tickets not just for the race, but also for the concert!! Jay chou on Fri, Maroon 5 on sat and Katy Perry on Sunday night were just awesome..not just for the concert, its my first time been to the event although its the 5th year in Singapore..everything were just great and i really enjoyed myself alot. So cool!!

Things that make us smile

Just when the family are in the mourning mood, my second brother brought Callum (Second nephew) back to our house and cheer us up...especially my mum...really sweet gesture and we were laughing away because Callum and Zi han (Elder nephew) were just too funny...well, life goes on :)

It's really heart wreaking for me yesterday when I saw my beloved aunt laying on the hospital bed, battling with cancer.. She was panting so heavily and lost alot of weight..
Just now, we received a call from my cousin that she had passed away..she is only 59yo..our whole family were devastated when we received the news although we had expected it.

In the past, she is the one who provides us with shelter when we were in huge debts..she is the one who offers her helping hands during our difficult times..and always brought me out when I was young and got me my favourite dish -western food as I only get to eat it when my dad/mum pay day once a month..

I had told myself I will treat her as well as my mum once I started working but it seems that I can only repay her in my next life...
Rest in peace and I will always remember those wonderful memories that you had given to us

Garden by the Bay

Sunday went to Garden by the Bay with ex cols..Was quite an enjoyable trip..seeing all the plants, trees, flowers, waterfall etc..the weather was good after a heavy shower in the noon..was really nice to get together again and catch up :D

back to work



After 2 weeks of reservist, im finally back to work on 15Aug..make some planning and made up my decision...Anyway,i hope everything will just go smoothly with what i had planned..

On Friday, Celebrated Boss and Meilian birthday at our new office...although most of the colleagues were not around due to work or long holiday, we had a great time catching up with one another during the gathering..

Then sat, meet up the msk group again for dinner..went to Hatch at Holland Village for dinner...a concept store for egg's lover..nice place to dine..then went to Chinatown to have our dessert before settling down at Clarke Quay...sitting along Singapore River and enjoy the breeze, watching the rides, chatting under the stars...

Month of August

What so happening about Aug?? mmm...perhaps i was recalled back to Police force for my reservist for 2 weeks...Back to Orchard..the most happening town in Singapore...Over the past 5 shifts, attended to a few interesting case..as usual...fighting and fighting...will be my last shift tonight before i put a full stop to my second cycle of my reservist.. :D

Another thing, 8/8/12..beside national day eve, i got my result for June paper...managed to clear both papers with marginal pass..im so happy..deep inside my heart, i thought i might fail one of the paper...at least this shows that my hardwork for 2 months did not go to waste...more reason to celebrate and drink

As i proceed to my final Sem, i will work doubly hard to achieve what i wanted in life..haha...i just a lucky fellow..i hope this luck will be with me...
