48 hours in Bangkok

Finally, the Bangkok trip was fulfilled! Always wanted to go back there again ever since 2011...
Took the flight at 6pm (GMT +8) after my IPPT..arrived in Bangkok around 7pm (GMT +7) ..cleared the custom and off to the train around 7.45pm...

Check into the hotel around 8.30pm..stayed at Courtyard marriott hotel this time round..it is convenient place where BTS station is 5-7mins walk and 15mins walk to Siam paragon..
After checking in, had Macdonald's for supper and Haagen daas before calling off the night.

Day 2, woke up around 8.30am. Went to this temple around my hotel..and pray for the better..it's really clear my mind and hoping to pray for better..in everything! Lol.. Next, head to Chatuchak market for bargain! It was so hot in Bangkok..but it doesn't kill my shopping spree..bought a pair of shorts, boxing shorts for nephews and air freshners too.. It's not as cheap as before..haha
                  4-faced Buddha
               Chatuchak market

Subsequently, went back to hotel around 1.30pm, had a quick shower before heading to ferry point for cruise ride..the cruise was fun! And bring you to places of attractions..alighted at Wat Pho, went to the temple and pay a visit to reclining Buddha.. Exploring the whole place before taking another boat to across the river..there was this "pyramid" which I'm not sure what is it call.. The stairs were so steep and it's really challenging to climb up...the view was amazing!
Next, took the boat ride back to the ferry point and headed straight to Siam!
And spent the whole evening at Siam paragon! It was huge mall with really expensive stores! Haha..finally had an authentic Thai food for dinner..green curry, pad Thai, Thai ice tea and meat satay..hehe
                         Cruising

                   Reclining  Buddha

Day 3, final day in bkk.. Woke up slightly later around 10am and head to Baiyoke Sky. It was the tallest building in Bangkok..84th floor high..the sky was clear and luckily one group of china tourists just went off..haha..the whole place was empty and quiet..really enjoying the panorama view of bkk...
Went to platinum mall, central world and MBK after that to do last min shopping.. Gotten something back for both of us at least..haha

Headed back to hotel to get our baggage before leaving to airport..took the 8pm flight home..

It was an amazing trip..after so much incidents and manifests happened to me...it was really a good break and I'm enjoying every moments of it..Thailand is amazing...cheap"er" food/drinks, nice people, nice company :)
Look forward for next trip..
