Short getaway - Malacca trip with parents

It's my first time ever traveling overseas with parents..As we are always too poor to travel in the past, so I decided to bring them for a short getaway to our neighbour country, Malaysia since my parents can't really walk too much and handle long flights/transportation..
We took the coach on Friday evening after my work and took us 4 hours to get to Malacca..on the way there, the coach was over-exert and we can smell something was burnt during the second hour of our journey..the bus driver stop for awhile and told us that the bus has broken down and need to wait for 2 hours for another replacement bus..as all of us were unwilling to wait further, the bus driver suggest to drive without air con and we all agreed...after another hour, the bus went to a haul again...this time, we can see thick smoke coming out from the engine box and we were all running out..luckily, the replacement bus come in time to pick us up and ended our ordeal..phew~~

Arrived at the Melaka sentral at 11pm, took a cab down to our hotel and rest!

Woke up at 7am the next morning and begin our day...after breakfast, we just need to walk around 10mins to see all the attractions like A' Famosa, Melaka museum,St Paul church..walk further down, we arrived at Christ church Melaka and Jonker street.. Pretty awesome..we even had the famous chicken rice ball at Jonker street without realizing it until I read up in google the day later..lol

We then spent the rest of the afternoon in the biggest shopping mall in Malacca (Dataran Pahlawan mega mall Melaka) eating and walking...after dinner, we went back to the hotel at 8pm and they began to sleep at 8.30pm!!!  While I was catchin up on news till 11pm..
                        A' Famosa

                        St Paul

                     Istana Melaka

                     Jonker street
           Popular chicken rice ball

Day 2 was pretty relax..checked out at 10am..went to the mall to have breakfast, then visit the coral wonderland to see all the sea marine..lunch, slack till 3pm before catching our coach back... Arrived at Singapore around 7pm..
I guess with proper planning and if my parents willing to walk more, the trip could be much better..it's not easy to bring them around and show them around too...I hope we can explore other parts of Malaysia or even Thailand in the future :)
