Weekend!!

I really love weekend as its the time to rest and relax after a hard week of working..On 7Apr, meet up Musketeers for photo-shoot. As we have all graduated from our respective University, we decided to have a simple and colourful photo-shoot at Punggol Lalang field. Its wasnt easy as we have to dig ourselves in the bunches in order to get close to Lalang...Insect bites, sunny weather and smiling in front of the camera were never an easy task..haha..

On 13 Apr (Sat), had a short getaway to Penang, Malaysia. Its my first time been there and everything there looks very 1980-1990s. Well, it is protected under the world heritage centre and everything over there look like Singapore when i was young!! Shop houses, metal gaze bus stops, brick-made school compound, street food, satellite dish for tv...mmmm...reminds me alot about childhood days..haha...

Reached Penang airport at 10.30am, check in and went out for lunch..shop for awhile before heading to Penang hill..took the funicular ride and went to the top of the hill and had a splendid view for whole Penang..brilliant!!Then, there are this Owl museum at RM10. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ENTERING!! there's nothing and i just felt like i threw away my RM10 (S$4) into the drain..

Took a bus to the Jetty.. Went to a chinese clan where they live near to the jetty..pretty cool sight.very interesting..went to Love Bite for dinner...Very interesting fusion concept..nice food and ambience to dine in..

Day 2 Sunday - Went to Gurney Drive and strolled along the beach..went tp Gurney Plaza and spent my whole afternoon there..shopping, eating and eating...lol... went to hotel to check out before catching my flight back to Singapore again in the evening..

A good 2Day 1Night getaway for me to recharge and feel alive again...look forward for more trips :D
